I love how a newspaper that covers the most liberal of states wrote a puff-piece interviewing liberal mayors in New Jersey and how the cutting off of federal funding would impact cities.
Then at the bottom of the article over 200 comments and a vast majority of them were talking about how illegal immigration has basically destroyed the livability of their cities in New Jersey.
I am surprised that they didn't edit all the comments that disagreed with their little puff-piece.
These are the opinions of the people in one of the most states in the country. Even many of people in the liberal state of New Jersey have gotten tired of illegal immigrants.
I wonder how long it would take for those mayors to call their police chief if people [citizens or non citizens] entered their property without permission and set up a tent in their back yard.

Trust me, President Becky Obama would be squealing like a pig if he saw illegal aliens setting up shop in whatever backyard he's going to have in 2 months. Admittedly, he kept his lie hole shut when the illegal aliens were actual family members of his.
The article shows just how out-of-touch the media really is with the average American.
Those of us that live on the border have been telling everyone else in the US how bad it is but no one listened until it hit them like a hammer. It's about time this happened.
Personally, I'm in favor of working out something like amnesty, but I fully realize that I'm opposite the majority of Americans on this issue. The news media needs to realize the same thing. They've said their peace and the American people have overwhelmingly rejected it.
One thing is for certain: The immigration side of politics ain't gonna be boring for the next 4-8 years!
