We are too nice (politically correct). When we cannot "Profile" people who looks suspicious in the airport, but 80 year old grandma's are searched instead, we need to change our way of thinking.

If we close the borders we will lose a crucial part of what makes America so great. We have always been a country that welcomed new faces. This is the land of opportunity, after all.

Actually, we haven't always kept the back door wide open. There have been times when we realized we had to be more careful. And the people in the past that we have offered a new home to have embrassed America and have come here to be Americans. It really is different now and it really is more dangerous not having secure borders.

Because the "War on Terrorism" is more about getting Republicans elected than it is fighting terrorism.

"It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear." -- General Douglas MacArthur

War; we don't have an objective and we can stay at the AOR for a lifetime and we will not change the people.

Open Border; until we really decide what our priorities are on this issue, we won’t fix the problem.

What about cost of war:$352,539,060,000 and increases every second.

Or compare to the cost of:
PRE-SCHOOL
KIDS' HEALTH
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
PUBLIC HOUSING
PUBLIC EDUCATION
