And the propaganda continues (illegal, job, citizenship, military)

I had filipino's at boot also, but none were illegal aliens. At the time we had an agreement with the filipines which allowed it. I don't know if they still can.
I would not want to have to rely on an illegal to watch my back especially if the firefight was with people from his native country.
No, I say we do not reward the illegal for his crimes by allowing him the honor and privilege to wear our nations uniform.
I agree with this sentiment. What a crime it would be, to allow an illegal person, a lawbreaker, to have the privilege to wear our nations uniform.
Something wrong about that. Someone who does not respect our laws, enough to come to this Country legally, should not be awarded the right to wear our uniform.

Uniforms (plural). There's quite a few of them. A few foreign countries use the same ones as the United States does, with an adjustment of the patches (I saw a soldier in DCUs laid out dead, but was able to determine he wasn't a U.S. troop by seeing those details).
I served with a number of outstanding individuals. And a (thankful) few bad ones. But there wasn't any stereotypical identification such as being from a particular ethnicity or background that determined if they would be a problem in that military environment.
With it being an absolute irony labeled as an "ethnocentric" after I was in those colorblind military teams...

I agree and this baloney that they are willing to die for our country is just that..... "baloney". It is just a means to gain legalization in our country and eventual citizenship. Why aren't they wiling to die to fix their own country?
I am glad that they can't join our military although I would be willing to bet that some have managed to either through using fraudulent papers or a recruiter that looked the other way.

And how do you know that they are not willing to die for our country? Do you interview them? Hang out with them in their off time, listen to their conversations? Is there a study that says this? If not, then your argument has no basis.

I'm sorry, but it's not a right to wear the uniform or be in the military. And before you say it is, if it truly was, then the armed forces wouldn't have to offer so many incentives to get people to join now would they?

Just DON'T try to enlist if here illegally; that person WILL be in some real bad trouble.
He claimed he loves this country and called himself an American. Um no, you have to be a citizen of this country to call yourself an American aka a U.S. citizen. I couldn't believe that Fox news aired this of all stations.
These people are so disgusting. They all say "they love this country". They love all the freebees. If everyone who says they love this country was allowed to become a citizen there wouldn't be anybody left in the developing world. Wanting to join our military is the easiest ploy the illegals use; they believe it is the easiest pathway to citizenship. If he wants to join the military, he should join the military in his own country.

Evidently, you are not aware, that the military is turning away a lot of people, they don't need people that bad anymore, particularly since the economy is so bad. There is a waiting list to join in some cases. For many that are enlisted, they are not given the option of re-enlisting. There are too many lazy people looking to be taken care of by the government. No more GED's accepted either.

Why you would have this reaction, especially for those that aren't intending to immigrate from their "developing world" country, is unknown to me...

True in a general sense, but place high on the aptitude tests, and you'll bypass those lines...

Unless they've hit "High Year Tenure" the military can't just arbitrarily give them a bad re-enlistment code on their DD-214...

Oh, yeah, spending a year+ at a time deployed dodging IEDs, suicide bombers and enemy snipers is definitely the easiest pathway to citizenship.
