There is also a ton of illegal immigrants (mainly Haitians and Dominicans) crossing the Mona Passage between the Dominican Republic and the US territory of Puerto Rico - where the Dominicans can easily blend in and obtain fake ID's that would enable them to hop on a flight going anywhere in the US.

They’re paid peanuts in China. Here they’re paid more, plus receive mega freebies for simply giving birth. The word is out -- go to the U.S. and the taxpayers will support you.

This is obviously not a substainable option. If these criminals want in on it they better move fast. There isn't one State not about to be crushed by debt, this being a big cause.

They certainly aren't coming for jobs because the housing bubble has burst and factories aren't hiring.

It's the very generous welfare programs that are keeping them coming. And of course the drug trafficking.

I will have to agree with Benicar here. Regardless that our state coffers are drying up the illegals know if they can make some instant citizens on our soil that the taxpayers will continue to support them. There is no rumor flying around to the contrary so that is still a big draw for the illegals to come here.

Businesses will just require more and more cheap illegal labor to maintain their profits in today's bad economy.

It would be easier to control the borders if it wasn't televised so that every single person at home sitting on their butt could second-guess and criticize the methods being used to keep our country safe.

I see that your well educated in what it takes to stop illegal immigration

It's the illegals and their supporters that criticize the methods being used.

We criticize them for the methods "NOT" being used.

Because they are wanted here by our own politicians. Now please stop asking questions, as the government frowns upon asking too many questions these days. Have a beer and see what's on television.
