Thanks CFF,

It looks like we stood within feet of the same spot to take a pic of the Clark Fork river, I noticed it when I was browsing your Clark Fork photo album.

Once I am up there and if you want I can put together an aerial video of your home and property for you, no charge.

I rarely fly where there are people and buildings, with weddings being the exception. I read the article you linked to and we have another idiot that was flying at a place and time when he should not have been. People that do this kind of thing are what is going to ruin it for all of us who follow the rules and use common sense.

I am doing a Mormon wedding today, can't fly at the Temple, new rules as of last spring from Salt Lake but we will be taking the wedding party over to the American river for a photo/video shoot. The videographer that I work for does want me to try and get an aerial shot of the Temple from a distance.

banjomike,

I tend not to fly over or around cows or horses, I would really hate to panic them but wild animals if I have the opportunity I'll video them but not harass them. I even go real slow if I have to pass a horse and rider when I am n my Jeep.

On a side note, I've lived in my area for 20 yrs and never even noticed that down in Placerville signs at crosswalks say "Please Walk Your Bike or Horse Across The Street", just noticed the Horse part the other day.

Here is a vid of the annual Wagon Train (Tahoe to Placerville) where I used A quadcopter to video the riders as they went through our small town........at the distance I was from the horses they never it was in the air.

Wagon Train! I participated in Wagon Train in junior high; what an awesome experience! Thank you so much for sharing this, Don!

Memories, light the corners of my mind...
