The Q70 looks like a deformed sausage that sat out in the sun too long. It's also an old design and due for replacement soon. I was a big Infiniti fan (owned several Nissans and a G35) but they have lost their way. The Q50 (G37 replacement) isn't even terribly sport oriented.

Lack of class against other brands. Lexus is sexier than any Hyundai.

i never driven genesis but Sonata and Elantra are worst handling cars in their class.

Yet you're saying it's so bad. So you're basing your opinion of how the Genesis doesn't measure up on what? You never drove or probably even sat in one. . Yet Lexus IS better somehow. Have you driven ANY of the vehicles you say are so bad? See I actually got into a Lexus, MB, Genesis, K900 and drove them. We're actually looking at getting something in the next 3-5 months.

Looks like some owners are taking the matter in their own hands. They are not waiting for Hyundai. This from the Genesis forum

"I bought the Genesis decal on Ebay for $13 and intend on switching out the Hyundai H on the trunk this sunday for it. "

Those are the emblems they use on the Korean market cars.

I would never buy a Genesis or Equs new, but pre-owned low mileage....hmmmmm maybe. Those cars are gonna depreciate faster than BMW's or MB's in their first 2 to 3 years on the road. They will do very well in the ore-owned market.

Also part of owning a BMW or MB is the dealership/service department experience. BMW and MB do it right. They treat you like a ROCK STAR.

The Hyundai and Kia dealerships I have been inside of have a sparsely decorated, dimly lit room with dirty windows and broken old furniture. The Showrooms are GHETTO and the service bays look like something out of an early 20th century factory. No thanks.

I don't see anything depreciating faster than used BMW's and Mercedes.

I was actively looking to buy a 3-4 year old BMW which ran about $40k new.

You can have your pick of them from $15k - $18k.

Asking price=Joke ... Make an offer

Every used car lot I drive by has at least one BMW or Mercedes for sale.

Oh and I could give a S$$t less how nice the service dept is when all they are going to do there is screw me!!
