That's a great suggestion, thank you, I had no idea it existed. I'll check it out but I suspect from the couple of reviews I just looked at the interior quality may not be where I want it to be but with a sticker $10k less than the Genesis and the great reviews on its power/handling it may be a contender.
I'll test drive later this week and update.
Any other sleepers out there?
p.s. I mentioned the Infiniti's in my OP, interior is dated on the Q70 and no ventilated seats on the Q50. Too hot in Texas to go without!
Really? I've never had ventilated seats... It gets terribly hot here, too, but a good A/C system and good tints are more than enough for me.
That's where I was with Hyundai two weeks ago - like WTF, who would pay that kind of coin for a Hyundai?!
Famous last words...
I know I wouldn't!! yea they have come up a long way but not enough for me to pay that kind of coin!! I had a 96 accent what a POS that was never again lol after the mech got done doing what ever they did to it when ever I ran the AC going up a dam hill I wound up pushing the car up the dam hill. thank god that POS got totaled by the insurance co!! that and the radio would play for 5 mins then it would cut off and say code screw all that

At our local Hyundai dealership if you want to test drive a Genesis or Equus, you call them and a sales person will bring the car to you for a test drive. If you buy the Genesis or Equus and it needs service (oil change or repair), you call them, they bring you a loaner, they take your car to the shop, when it's repaired they bring your car back to you and then bring back the loaner car.
What about a certified used? In the $65k CPO range: MB S550, Audi A8, RS5, Lexus LS460...
The 5.0 lists for $55k fully loaded and my target OTD price is significantly below that. And I agree with the above posters, I'm very afraid of the long term costs of German cars period, let alone CPO.

At the Hyundai dealer I use, they even have a separate waiting room for Genesis and Equus owners. It has leather recliners with individual TVs and headphones.
