too bad it is made out of tinfoil, paint is trash, interior is held up by velcro, crumble zones are designed to save midgets and they rust in the first year.
I see kias in the shops I work with all the time; some people actually think that mod those things is a smart idea, but most just to get things in order after either the dealership messed it up or after the warranty repair was refused.
The Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program* consists of:
10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty
5-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty
5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty
5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan
Main thing to consider is buying one used, as the warranty is not fully transferable. Old Kias were crap, but the new ones are well worth considering if you want a cheap, reliable vehicle.
I haven't driven any of the recent ones, but reviews indicate they're far better than the cars sold when they first came to the US. They have some obvious compromises but overall they're decent cheap transportation.
