What is the large cyclone headed toward Ireland and GB? Doesnt seem to have a name but the winds to the south seem almost as high as Tammy. Is it a hurricane remnant? Seems it will hit over the weekend.
Looking back at model data - appears to be end of last week's Nor'easter / very potent cold front that departed US end of last week. It pivoted up across Eastern Canada and became very large size wise with a low pressure just S of Greenland. Was actually able to pull up some outlying moisture helped along by that strong frontal boundary pull up some moisture from Tammy near the Caribbean as well as from Norma from Western Mexico.
