Seems like a elevated pedestrian walkway from A&M south into downtown. Maybe it will help college kids get to the bars downtown.

Here is one depiction. Meandering elevated walkway.

Omaha has one as well. Looks quite similar.

No, it's from downtown (near the civic center) SW to Lowe Mill area. An elevated walkway from A&M to downtown would be quite a project. Many miles.

Understand the overly large scope in my post. The linked article outlined that route from A&M, which AL.co m was obviously incorrect.

Looks like something will think looks cool, use once, and then never go back to use.
Sorry, I don't buy the younger population from A&M or any other university is going to use it enough to justify its existence. I think it is a waste of money. My opinion and $1.00 will get you a Coke.

Seems like another over priced restaurant. Large sub == $22.49; no way! (Kennasaw Ga.)
I'll go to Arby's or Jon Smith Subs.

No you just mis read it, it’s talking about a greenway that the bridge would be part of.
“And it will be another link in a greenway trail that’s gradually stretching from Alabama A&M University in the north to the Tennessee River to the south.”
