Palmer House Apartments. The Marriot is to the west between Palmer House and stadium. No site work has occurred for the hotel.

Thank you.

I drove through there this morning, and they're digging a huge hole, for lack of any other descriptive word. Might be a lake, or perhaps part of a drainage system. That's a little to the east and on the south side of the road from what will be the Palmer House apts.

It's the 268-unit Palmer House apartments.

Lots of paving work going on at the Hwy 20 (Madison Blvd) Zierdt Rd intersection. Looks like it'll be complete in the very near future.

And it's still taking forever just to finish the final paving. Don't get your hopes up

When the new courthouse is complete, other federal courtrooms in north Alabama cities will be closed. Huntsville will be the center of federal court activity for the region from then on.
Huntsville’s new federal courthouse will start rising in 2021

That sounds like a huge step forward and will serve to further unite the region.

The only thing missing in the article is a look at the building's appearance. I'm pleased that it will be a Greek revival building (government buildings traditionally look like that, especially court houses and post offices), but a concept would be nice. Maybe something like the fairly recently completed one in Mobile (although the one there is larger and more expensive, but along those lines): https://www.google.com/search?q=mobi...40d88QGXZXD6UM

Anything short of an additional 15 years will be a plus.
