There have been a total of 9 confirmed and approved locations. There are 3 under construction. One in Dallas. One is Frisco. One in Allen.

Yeah, and they have been smart in choosing these locations. All of them are in EXTREMELY high traffic areas. The other Dallas location (not the one under construction) will be near the High Five Interchange next to a very busy Starbucks.

Dallas (2)
Frisco (1)
Allen (1)
Irving (1)
Garland (1)
Hurst (1)
Cedar Hill (1)
Fort Worth (1)

Oh, when the smell of hamburgers and coffee mingle...

You know, reading this got me thinking - if there was a rational reason to actually oppose the expansion of something like INO to Texas - a couple things:

1) Quantity and quality tend to be inversely proportional. More expansion means more mass production, more corner cutting. Whataburger, Blue Bell - it holds as true to INO as it would anything a Texan might possibly go "OMG WHY DONT THEY HAVE THIS HERE"
2) Wouldn't it be nice to be able to travel the country and actually have some things that are unique to particular parts?

Just saying.

1) Read up more on IN-N-OUT:D Magazine : Attack of the Double-Double

2) There are myriad reasons to travel this beautiful nation...not one of them has anything to do with fast food...IMO.

At least I was listening to some music while reading that or it would've been a complete waste of five minutes.

I really don't get it. I suppose some people might think it's really cool to need to do some sort of secret-handshake bull**** to get the good stuff that's not on the menu.
