I have an interview scheduled on a weekened from Bush airport to Houston. I am thinking the interview will last about 45 minutes or so. How much can I expect to pay for taxi from Airport to Houston, wait there for 45 mintures, and then back to airport?

Should I not ask the taxi to wait and then call another taxi after the interview?

Thanks.

call Yellow Taxi and find out - I heard it is really expensive (like $75 one way). If you have th edriver sitting out there during the interview, you will be paying a total of about $200 for that ride if it is a short interview. It would be cheaper to rent a small car.

I don't think that you can rent a car per hour. Usually is per day.
Economy and compacts for about $27 ( all incl.) A great price!
can't beat that!!

Enterprise may be your best bet.

But I wouldnt have a cab wait for you. Its about $40 each way. Cabbies love the airport fare.

If possible, take the bus from IAH to Downtown and take a cab from there.

I think renting a car for the day would be cheaper than a cab.

The advantage of renting a car would be that you can explore the area a little bit if you have time before your flight back. How long do you have between flights?

Bring a GPS if you have a portable one.

I think that's what I'll do.
