We're moving into Montgomery county and would like to subscribe to a local newspaper to learn more about the area. We take the Chronicle through an online subscription, and we'll continue doing that. But we'd like to learn more about local issues, politics, etc.

I live in Pasadena, so I wouldn't know, but various communities around Houston have local newspapers through Houston Community Newspapers.

From your info, I can see your from Spring, but if your not, then just look at the other community newspapers in Montgomery Co.

It looks like The Spring Observer is your local newspaper. You can check out the website to see how to subscribe to them,.
