We plan to drive to houston area and need some advice. We might decide to stay overnight in a hotel. What we need is a decent, not expensive hotel in a safe area for 2 adults and a toddler. Mainly for sleeping, free internet would be good, but not necessary. No need for other luxuries; sleep at night, check out in the morning...

We are heading to the area of sugarland/stafford and the region between them and downtown.

Dont choose one along 59 between 610 and the beltway. Make sure it is near Kirby/Sheperd on 59 in town (I think there is a best western there)or in SL. Sl Marriott is nice.

The Marriott in Sugar Land and also the Hilton Garden Inn in Sugar Land are nice.
