Ask them for a job---Malls are going broke, and any rent money is better than none. Wal Mart, and Target are getting the market share. Nobody can afford to pay more for the same products, just to support an expensive store anymore. Plus, if you have a problem with a product, you have to send it back to the Manufacturer, anyhow. As the economy gets worse, you will see more hussles everywhere. Be careful out there.

Same here.
The few times I do go to the mall each year, I head to a specific store and head out.
I absolutely HATE going to any mall.
There's nowhere to park, its crowded, and there are never any good deals anyway.
When the salespeople do approach me, I just ignore them and keep walking.
The worst ones are the cell phone salespeople.

I worked for several years in mall management in Canada. We often had a problem with our cart tenants. Our leases had a strict no solicitation clause. I would often walk the mall and try to enforce the policy. That being said as soon as my back was turned they would be right back at chasing women down the halls trying to straighten their hair. Severe problems would result in termination and eviction. I found that the problem would always get worse around the holidays. Many of the people working in those carts are paid strictly on commission there for driving the employee to work harder for their pay check regardless of the annoyance to shoppers and mall management. My main suggestion would be to file a complaint with management. They need to be able to build a case in order to terminate a lease.
