Im moving to Cypress this summer and my mother-in-law wants me to find senior communities around that area of town. Anyone know of any within 30 miles of Cypress? Thanks

There's a section in Longwood that's geared for 55+ set. Many of them are situated along the 27-hole Golf Course.

Thanks for the info I am actually looking at some homes in Longwoods maybe I will look else where hehe cant be having my mother in law to close now

If you want to be within driving distance but not TOO close, Del Webb is building a community in Richmond that might be quite nice when they are finished later in 2009. My mother lives in a Del Webb community in California and she loves it.

The Towne Lake subdivision in Cypress has a 55+ section.

Windsor Lakes in the Woodlands is very convenient to shopping and Market Street - it's driveable from Cypress, and it gives your mom (and you!) access to the Woodlands ammenities.

i second HG. nice place, and as an added bonus, i placed about 75% of all the foundations in there for village builders.
