I'm really confused about all the choices of electrical providers in the Sugar Land area. Any comments or suggestions regarding your thoughts would be appreciated. I read about a company that provides wind power, is it really reliable? Will have to call to get utilities connected next week and am stressing over what to do. We are coming from Chicago and there was just one provider. Thanks.

Yes, it is reliable.

You might want to check out Houston Consumer Choice

I used to switch providers all the time. I finally settled with StarTex Power. They usually have the lowest rate available, or one of the lowest.

Have had StarTex for over a year in Sugar Land, lowest rates and have had no problems.
