Good lesson to learn. Houston's finest are graded on their response time, after a crime, or injury has been sustained. Not much on the "prevention" part. ---this could easily be corrected.

Oh, he's getting cozy now, curled up and taking a nap right at the front door of my business.

What is the dog doing that is aggressive? Can you catch him and take him to the shelter? That is what I would do.

If you feel in danger, call the Police, and tell them you are scared, and will stay on the line till help comes. they love that one.

If hes taking a nap, you cant say its being aggressive to kids, and you can't pull out S&W. Maybe shoo it away with a stick.

FWIW I used to live in River Oaks and had my house alarm go off. No one showed for 45 minutes. Then I left.

That was my next question...had he been aggressive? I understand he is a pitt, and I understand your concern, but not all pitts are attack dogs.

Yes he has been aggressive. And you never hear of a beagle or Golden Retriever killing a child. I figured my title of this post would be a give away if he was being aggressive or not.
