We are moving to Sugar land by late december and want a Daycare / pre-school for 2 yr old and 4 yr old. They had n't been any other day care / pre-school . Prefer 3 days/week full day (even 8 - 3 will do) program with lunch prvided there.

Is it already late to look for it ? kindly share your valuable opinion...

We've been happy with KidsRKids on Homeward Way in New Territory in Sugar Land. I think they do a great job up through pre-K. (Each KidsRKids is different, so I'm only familiar with this particular one).

My oldest went to the Towne Creek School... I was very happy with it. It's in Missouri City but on the western side near Hwy 6 very close to Sugar Land, First Colony etc. It's a private school and has been there a really long time. They were flexible on the days (there were several other medical center workers who didn't work the typical 5-day week) and provided lunch.

Walden School on Lexington is great- talk to Mr. Mike (the owner who works thr front desk). Very family=oriented. Also most churches have a children's day program/preschool program.

Here is my opinion on the KidsrKids on Homeward Way. The reason why the parking lot is so packed is because the other facilities in the area are worse. If you try to talk to management about an issue, they just turn it around and make it your fault. If you complain too much, they tell you not to come back. The teachers will cover for each other. Don’t let them intimidate you. If you know something is not being handled appropriately, call CPS. CPS will at least bring attention to the issue and it will be anonymous for you. There are a handful of wonderful teachers there if you are lucky enough to get one of them before your child is hurt. They have great policies but they don’t follow them.

I was talking to a mom earlier this week who reported extremely good experiences with The Education Station on Highway 6. I have no affiliation or experience with them, but she made it sound really, really good. Worth investigating for anyone who finds this thread because they are still seeking a pre-K preschool.

Yes... or if they do offer half-day, it's morning to afternoon. Not afternoon to evening.

Primrose is really good too.

I didn't like Primrose (on Soldier's Field) at all. I personally observed bullying and teachers who were huddled in a corner socializing while the children ran wild.
