My family and I are moving from upstate NY to Sugar Land in early January, and I'm looking for a part-time (almost full-time) daycare for my son who is almost 5. Any recommendations? It's such a difficult thing to go into blindly, without personal recommendations, and I would like to have it narrowed down to 2-3 places to tour soon after we move there. We're moving to Riverstone, so someplace in that part of Missouri City would also be fine. We're looking for the obvious - caring staff, supportive learning environment, cleanliness, etc. Cost is somewhat of a factor, but we're willing to pay a little more if it means better quality (although it doesn't always!) Thank you in advance to anyone who can help. (Also places not to consider will be noted!) Thanks.

You should google texas dept of family and protective services for licensed and registered daycare providers as well as public daycares.
