Certain individuals made it a mantra out of the great fall weather in Houston

well, im still waiting!

it was so hot today I could feel the temperature change on the back of my neck when I walked under a tree.

And it rained all weekend,

Feel sorry for the people that just moved to Houston recently for the great weather.

Texas weather is always changing. One day(or week) it will be rainy, hot, and muggy then the next there will be a cold front coming through. Its seems there is less of the colder temps in winter too lately..what with global warming and all (if you believe in that, dont know if I should yet) Lol.

I think on the news today I saw that it was going to be clear and in the 70s this weekend with lows being 60 and 62, then by Monday its in the 80s and rainy again.

Maybe the reason some ppl talk about the nice fall weather here, is because when it DOES hit,..it feels so good!(compared to the heat and humidity we usually get) It'll come around, but its a gamble for how long.

Yeah, well certain individuals are spin doctors when it comes to spring & fall weather here. I figured you would've known that by now since you've lived here more than 1 year.

Sorry those people lied to you, fall weather in Houston????? Maybe in December, of course that's when it should feel like winter, not fall. Houston has crummy weather, hard to image anyone moving here for the weather.

If you want true, classic fall weather you have to head to the Rockies or northern New England. NO where in Texas has great fall weather...yes, some areas are "cooler" but would you really want to be in Amarillo to "enjoy" fall??

Also, I'll take 85 degrees on Xmas day any year over snow and ice in most of the rest of the country!
