As I drove into work this morning, there was a brisk wind blowing; as I passed a bank by the side of the road, there was a huge old oak tree wrestling in the wind in silhouette cast by the amber light behind it. And as the wind blew the tree, the leaves could be seen falling and flickering on and off as they fell illuminated by the amber light.... and then I rear-ended the guy in front of me!

HA! Just kidding, no accident, but it was a nice to see that on the first day of Fall. Fall won't actually be here in Houston officially until 16:18... in case anyone is interested.

I guess I should've purchased the life raft for my car. Going home will be fun.

Well, it's prudent to keep an Ark handy in Houston at all times.

Is my thermometer broken? Is it really 73*F outside, at 3:15 on a September afternoon?

(do you think the front is stalling like they said it would?)

It's nice to see seasonal changes. Even though it's not a huge change as you may see on the east coast, it's more of a change than I use to see when I lived in Cali...
