please answer if you are familiar.
Centex Homes - good or bad builder?
Some area's near or in these neighborhoods below did not seem well kept as far as the homes and yards.
Oaks of atascocita 3
Atascocita west sec 2
( over lake houston bridge near upper lake road behind estate homes)
What are the dynamics of the above two neighborhoods? Diversity compared to kingwood? Do they have neighborhood pools? What about the crime rates compared to kingwood?
Thanks!

Atascocita is ok if that is your preferred location for commute or what have you. In my opinion Atascocita is just a slightly ghetto/less nice version of Kingwood.

No it's equal to kingwood without the longer commute. It has the trees, the nice homes/communities, access to the lake, parks, shopping, restaurants, etc that Kingwood has. Only there are more ways to get out of it than just Kingwood Dr and Northpark Dr.

Sorry, but no, the communities in Atascocita are not as nice as the ones in Kingwood. Also take a drive along 1960 and then along Kingwood Drive and tell me again about how they compare.

1960 is a major thoroughfare. Kingwood Dr is a street/road. I wasn't comparing certain streets. I was comparing communities.

And to answer your question, I can get to a super walmart, super target, 2 nice grocery stores, a Ross, a kohls, a lowes, and myriade of other stores in a 5 minute car ride in Atascocita. And still have a large lot with lots of trees in my backyard. Oh, and I paid less for my newer house than I would in Kingwood.

I love Kingwood, and the feel of it. But it doesn't always offer up everything I want.
