We will be moving to houston this coming summer and we are thinking of buying a new house. Do you recommend a builder/developer?

Any recommendation between a new home vs a previously owned one?

Thanks for your help

Chesmar was my builder and I received a lot of value for my money.

Have you actually moved into your Chesmar house? And if so, how long have you lived there? Or are you just going by their model homes?

I ask this because I am considering purchasing a Chesmar house also. So far, I have seen their models (in two different communities). They have really nice designs and appear to have a lot of "upgrades" included in their "standard" price, which makes it seem like a good overall value. However, I have not been able to find any info on Chesmar -- either good or bad, specifically their build quality or their customer service skills (after a purchase), etc. Thanks!
