Anyone have replacement windows installed lately? With the summer coming combined with the available tax credit, it's time to have ours done.

Who did you use?

Are you satisfied?

How much did you spend?

Thanks in advance!

You can get replacement Windows from Wonderful Windows and Siding. They had a 10 for $3995 deal so that's what I got.

Anyways, I'm very happy with the work they did. You should check their website for replacement windows in houston.

Hope this helps!

Hi there. My name is Lana and I had my windows replaced by Clear Choice Windows in Houston Tx. I dont know where you are located and if you have found any, but they have a great deal going on right now. Something to the effect of any size window $185.00 plus the tax credit. They will come out and give you a free estimate. If you havent bought windows yet, I would give them a call... 713-462-1850. They also come with a lifetime warranty

Beware. Many of these replacement window companies are not quoting low-e glass, which is required by most codes. Plus, you really really want low-e; it is so effective at keeping our summer heat outside the window, it's the best money you will ever spend.

Just tell them you want low-e quoted, and get a bottom line quote--installed, with tax, etc. Only way to really compare apples to apples.

Not only must you have low-e, but to qualify for the tax credit you also need argon filled windows. Sometimes there are three levels of windows to choose from: "regular", low-e and low-e + argon. Make sure you get a quote for the right one.
