Same thing happened to us in Fort Bend. Identical model homes to ours, built the same year, with the same finishes or better (one down the street has rock elevation on front) and they've got our structure valued at $10k more. For the exact same thing. Makes no sense. So far the protest did no good, and they're blaming it on sales prices and "the computer" whatever that means. Totally different than in the past before they could get a hold of sales prices.

Last year and again this year I fought Fort Bend County by hiring Occonnor and Associates, Last year they won and my reduced taxes amounted to over $6000.00 value. My cost? $90.00. This year Fort Bend went up a total of $9000.00. I will let you know how well Occonor and Associates does this year.

I live in Timbergrove, the price stayed the same. On the ifile I complained about a train line and Mexican bar withing 100 yards and they reduced my assessment 11%.
