I'm thinking building a house on a couple of acres, tell me the pros/cons of living in that area.

Not sure of all the pros and cons. Lots of both. Tends to be a bit more rural but not a bad drive into the city so you can enjoy everything. If you are on acreage in an area where there are a lot of nice homes built on acreage - you'll be fine. If you are near a lot of lots with run-down trailers, or run-down trailer parks - seems like a lot of those parks off of highway 6 have a reputation as being a meth lab areas. Note the emphasis on run-down - lots of people live in nicer trailers and are decent working-class people. Anyone else know?
