I am looking for some cheap parking spots around medical center. Specifically near University and Fannin. I will only be around there for no more than 2 hrs. Thanks.

Default Downtown to Light Rail

You can also park in downtown Houston for free on Winburn street @ Main which is right next the the light rail. Or any street along the light rail that will allow you to park for free and yes they are there you just have to know where they are. Then hop on the light rail for 1.25 one way and another 1.25 to return and ride down to the med center to stay as long as you need and then take the rail back to your car.

I'm sorry, but I don't see any Winburn St. Are you sure it's there at TMC? Is there any parking lot like this at TMC?

Opps sorry and I know this is too late but I meant Winbern St. where A'Tifia Restaruant is located. Around that area or Berry Street...there is street parking in and around that area with a hop skip and jump to the light rail.

Park in the 3 hour parking lot across from the HMNS and take light rail to the TMC.

The reason I mentioned the area that I did is because you don't have to be deal with the traffic getting to the HMNS and the street parking is free. The entire time I studied at M.D. Anderson and worked in the TMC that is where I parked. 5 days a week and took the light rail into TMC. It was easy peasy.
