Can you expand on what you mean by Italian bakeries? I may come across as ignorant, but hopefully you're looking for more than regular bread.

You never heard of a bakery? Well come to think of it, bakeries have gone out of style. People dont want to go to a bakery anymore when they can get baked goods (lousy ones) from any grocery store.

I wish there were a good Italian bakery still alive.

Italian Bakery = Canolli, Biscotti, Pinoli, Cantucci, Eclairs (i know Eclairs are Frenh but Italians make them better), various other pastries and cookies.

I found this place, I will stop by tonight.

CannoliByMail.com - they are based in Houston but I don't see how you can buy them except via mail or at the annual Houston Festa Italiana every October.

I dont think they are Italian but The Acadian Bakery on W. Alabama is really good. They have the best lemon tarts!!!
