Well I ended up going w/ Comcast 3 service package (cable TV, internet & phone) and so far I'm happy with it. The cable download speeds surge well over 11MB in real world testing and are consistently fast. So far the phone service works well, too, and the package also included a digital cable box w/ DVR and 170-something channels, all for under $120 (w/ tax, about $130). Of course, that price is for 12 months and doesn't include an HDTV box, which I don't yet need (maybe Santa will help with that??).

So, just a "so far so good" note for Comcast. The installers were also super professional, FAST and didn't even complain about the difficult attic conditions. They ran a jack into a center room, down a wall, both cable & phone and hooked up 2 existing jacks, and ran a new main line from the box and buried it. I'd say it took right at an hour, maybe an hour and a half.

Does anyone know if ATT Uverse is availabe in Telfair? I know Entouch is, but I was just researching my options. I've experienced the "Comcrap Triple Delay" already and would not go back.
