Off topic @ Andre are you Jamaican by any chance? That is the only place I've ever lived that "coolie" was not considered offensive and people with Indian ancestry used it to describe themselves. Where I grew up that's a fighting name!

Oh by the way, the only reason I know about roti is because my parents are both from Trinidad.

Thanks for the heads up! Most of the people I know selling West Indian food in Houston do it out of there houses like this woman who sells roti, salt fish and bake and all sorts of yumminess out of her house in Missouri City.

Here in Austin I have to make do with "Curry in a Hurry" and roti that I have in my freezer since January
I can't wait to move to Houston!

I don't think Htown is boring, but it could definitely use a major theme park like Six Flags near by.

Judging from my recent visit, Houston is far from boring. In my opinion it has something for everyone.

Houston is awesome!
...but you need to have a car, a "driver" , or able to drive to appreciate and go to places just like most of the places in the US, unless you're in NYC...

It's getting one larger than both Six Flags Over Texas and Fiesta Texas. The theme park being built is called "Earth Quest Adventures". Think Busch Gardens, but with dinosaurs, too. Hotels are actually already setting up shop and homebuilders have been lining up.

Oh, and there is this other thing called an Indoor Ski Resort....
