After 25 years of living here I feel like its time to move on. Houston its being over run by people moving in and there is construction around every corner. Also it seems that its just getting hotter and hotter every day. I have been here since high school and college and post college and feel like now its just being taken over. Anyone else thinking of moving on to something new?

I am but I live in Cinti and I am looking at Texas (Dallas or Houston). Have you thought about the other smaller cities like San Antonio or Austin.

You're just now coming to the conclusion after being here for 25 years that there are too many people here. Was it person number 6,500,000 that did it?

BTW where did you come from originally ?

If construction and being overrun by people is an issue, Austin is not for her.

i remember when population of sugar land was 30,000 and there was plenty of farmland, then came two way roads, then came four way rounds, then came concrete jungles by my house where there were mustard fields. Then the board said 45,000 then it said 62,000 then 85,000 now i dont even know what it says anymore but all i know is that im over it.
I am from Houston originally and its just growing too big and too fast for me.

Sounds like you just need to move a little further down 59 like maybe Beasley , Kendleton , or East Bernard ? Whatever you do I hope you find the place you are looking for...

All your posts in the past sounded like you really liked the area and neighborhood you were on. Too bad if it has changed.

Ironically, Despite it getting big, most people want to move to a smaller place as they age yet houstons med center makes Houston A great place for people to live as they age.

The US population has increased by over 200 million since 1915...with no sign of it slowing down.

I've noticed that most places in the US that were once considered great places to live 20-25 years ago are now overpopulated, which takes away from the appeal those places once had.
