Hi everyone, I love in Katy near green trails (i10 and s fry area). I have a strong willed stubborn 3 year old child. I work so hard with him to get him to understand that he cannot be impulsive and hit because he is not getting a toy or that he is frustrated. But he still hits. I need to find a school that gives him more attention. That has good discipline structure. That explains to him, to other kids. That works with him. I know it's frustrating to have a kid that hits, but he is three. I hate to have to legitimize myself but I work so hard, take him to occupational therapy weekly, etc to help him learn to think before he acts. I know I get judged a lot as a mother of such kid and I wish I could just tell everyone that I probably work harder than them with my kid, but that is his personality, and he will learn as he matures. Sorry for the vent. Anyway, any suggestions on good places? Lower teacher to child ratio? Attentive teachers in the three year old rooms? Won't kick him out after a few incidents but will listen to my concerns and work with him? Please don't comment to attack me and tell me that you don't like disruptive kids In Your child's class. I've been judged too much. If you only know how hard it is....

It's a very small program, but we loved it. It is an older building, but it is popular among katyisd teachers and principals.

Seconded for the Learning Center. My daughter is almost 12 and her 3yr old and PreK teachers are still there! Great staff!

(And if it really matters the building/church had a recent remodel... Re: old buildings)
