Big game being played in Houston today, #1 ranked team in the world Argentina with Messi will be playing the US in the Semi final of the 100 year anniversary of the Copa America.

Anyone else going? How much did you pay for tickets?

My wife and I bought tickets for this before the competitors were decided.

We got them for $80 a piece (Nosebleed seats).

Now the cheapest I can find in a similar section are $300.

It should be an interesting crowd and exciting game.

We are pretty excited and are planning on taking the lightrail to NRG stadium.

We are going. I bought tickets as soon as I understood the bracket and knew who the teams could be. Paid 275 each for higher row in section 128.

Should be a good game. My dh and ds are going - they got tickets quite a while ago.

Argentina is going to play hard
They haven't won an international trophy in a long time and they really want to win this one.

Got our tickets last Monday. A bit more than I would have liked at $160 each in loge (500) level but absolutely worth it for the chance to watch both these teams, and especially see Messi play live. Of course, I would have been thinking differently had it been Ecuador vs. Venezuela...

Good call by OP on light rail. We did that for the Mexico game last week. This time we are going to try and park near the downtown transit center as last week they ran express buses from NRG straight back there - no lines and a breeze compared to the scrum for the light rail back to downtown.

Thanks for the tip on the Downtown transit center, we were considering doing the one just south of Reliant but I think I will go downtown after hearing the info you gave.

I am afraid this might be the end of the road for the US national team. I think this is an okay team but Argentina is just going to be difficult to beat
