For some reason I am getting a lot of grackles in my backyard this year. Poop everywhere including the pool, which is not cool Any ideas how I fix this issue? I don't care for the noise or the presence but man they can freaking POOP all over the places

The most effective methods are illegal. That said, if you want to spend money, there are some devices that make predator noises that will drive them off... anywhere from $250 all the way up to 1K.

Have they always been there, or are they new to your area? I hate those bastards too... it is like the movie 'The Birds' by Alfred Hitchhock around some places, thousands of them flying around. There is a Walgreens on West Gray and Woodhead where you have to take an umbrella to get out of your car, else you will get the poop!

One of my coworkers bought a fake owl (i think it was an owl). Seemed to scare them off for a while.
