I searched about this and the info is a little dated. Wanted current opinions.

What is the best route from Katy (Seven Meadows, 1093 & 99) to a little west of Galleria (San Felipe & Augusta Dr.). Ideally, need to get to Galleria at 8 AM and leave at 5 PM. But other times may be fine. Lately Westpark Tollway is backed almost immediately on entering it. Also, use BW8 to get there or use 59 & Chimney Rock? I've used the obvious tools (Maps, etc.) but just wanted opinions from anyone with a similar commute. Thanks!

Leave before 5:50am (get a gym pass or something and workout before work), but your departure time is absolutely brutal. Either leave before 4pm, or wait until 6:30pm or you going to be in a world of traffic. I-10/Westpark/Beltway, its all going to be backed up.

I'm at 1093 and spring green and commute into downtown. no options other than i10, WP toll or Westheimer through george bush park (now flooded).

it sucks. sorry. i leave before 6am and it's a breeze, if I miss my 6am window I telecommute and leave after 9am.
