Hello,

How much does it cost to go from Peek Road (Katy) to Post Oak (Galleria) on the Westpark tollroad? I was under the impression that it is $1.25 one-way, but someone told me it is actually $3.80 one way? Is it different during the office hour or weekend?

Thanks

my wife takes that road to work (katy/grand parkway to beltway 8) and it's costing us about 4.00 round trip, I would think your 3.80 is a round trip fee.

Don't forget about the gasoline and/or wear and tear when calculating the real costs!

I can't wait until the commuter line is built right next to it.

I can't wait until the tollway is torn down to add one or two more rail lines.

Two lines can already fit I believe. METRO has 50 feet to use along that corridor. The tollway will not be torn up because the HCTRA doesn't want it to be (makes too much money for them). If you are wondering why the Westpark Tollway is so small (which many people have), it is because METRO owns half of the right-of-way (ROW).

It is 3.85 one way, 7.70 round trip (24/7 currently)
.50 just east of Peek road
.50 before the Barker Cypress/Hwy 6 exit
1.25 near Wilcrest
1.25 near Fondren
.35 exit at Post Oak (on the reverse route, this is collected at ramp from Rice)

When the construction on I-10 is complete, expect these rates to double during rush hour traffic.

I wish it weren't right... From the Harris and Fort Bend county websites (the Peek Road and Barker-Cypress tolls are in Fort Bend county - all other Westpark tolls are in Harris County
