You could probably get a basic pool like you describe for around 14-15K.

The issue is that if you have a nice house, but put a crummy looking pool on it, it could actually devalue the home. You want it to look somewhat nice, but you can skip out on a lot of expense with no spa, heater, rocks, flagstone, etc. Basic tile and brick coping and some nice plants around it should be OK.

Of course you can only use it in the summer with no heater.

It's always summer in Houston lol... well not really but I probably wouldn't want to jump in the pool during the winter anyways. wait time to heat it up if it were heated... how long? Or to keep it constantly heated... how much?

I found this company: Houston Pools & Spas - Houston Pool Builder, Houston Pool, Housotn Pool Bid, Houston Pool Contractor, Houston Pools, Houston swimming pool contractor.
Good looking pools and not too expensive under 30K!

I'll probably contact them when I do decide to go for the pool.

Default Splash Pools of TEXAS

We recently spoke with a Jason Lewis with Splash Pools of TEXAS about a pool--how would I go about finding out if he is tied in with Pamela Kay Schmid?

Maybe "Jason Lewis" is another alias for Ms. Schmid.

It is heated and we have Hayward equipment. We have slate tile inside, brick coping, and about 500 SF of peagravel decking. It cost us $33,000. It all adds up quickly, ours is pretty standard- no fancy upgrades. It's gorgeous though!
What pool company did you use? We are looking into building something very similar.

Could you please give us the name of your pool company. We are looking for a pool with similar options.

We are thinking of building a similar pool. Can you give me the name of your pool company?
