To me this show is just a modernized version of the Apprentice. The same concept of hiring people and making contracts with them, seeing how they make sales, etc. But with the attitude you see in every modern business show. Sure, it's cool to see a Houston billionaire starring, but to me this business show concept is simply getting old.
I liked it. Caught it last night on in demand. Apprentice was just people running around like crazy to satisfy trump trying to come up with ideas to promote one of his business partners all in an attempt to win a chance work for him. Then it lost ratings and they redid it using celebrities just to satisfy our country's obsession with the famous in order to draw ratings.

I liked that fertitta was not boastful or rude or exceedingly brutal to the contestants. He was just a business man seeking to help other businesses by using their products but seemed he also imparts good business advice to help them succeed even if he opted not to use them. I'll watch it again.

I liked the show. Will keep watching. I like any entrepreneur type show.

I have a soft spot for the guy's business anyway. I used to work for a firm and had them as a client. Went to the Casinos in Vegas, Laughlin, and Atlantic City. Good Casinos (Laughlin really isn't...but its in Laughlin, so it doesn't really have to be).

The one in Lake Charles is dope. And it's only a 2 hour drive from Houston

I plan on going there this summer. But they are more expensive than the others in the area.

Yeah, but you can say the same about Las Vegas and Atlantic City. You can find much cheaper casino resorts in both of those. Plus, you don't have to stay in the golden nugget to visit it.
