Why not make it $6 and get a free trip to the Cypress Outlets?

After you go over I-45, turn South on the feeder road
Drive about a mile South and then turn West to get on the Grand Parkway

Your other option is to drive all the way up to Rayford-Sawdust, take the u-turn
drive South on I-45, pass the Hardy entrance and then take the Grand Parkway.
I thought there were going to be connectors from hardy? Perhaps that is scheduled down the line just like the 249 connectors are slated to be completed later. I can't believe 249 doesn't have a direct connection right now; that area is growing steadily.

I just faxed you a check.

Thanks for the detailed directions! I had a feeling the 45/Hardy/99 connectors weren't all done. Hopefully that's on the drawing board.

I want to drive the new part of 99 just to see what it's like. And this will help. I tried to rep you, but it said I need to spread it around first, so I must have repped another post of yours fairly recently. Clearly, since we think similarly, you are a person of great wisdom and insight!

If you can get me from I-45/99 to 290/99, and save me time, and save me tolls... let's hear it.

Even Waze can't beat the time/space/distance conundrum.

Undoubtedly waze is helpful, but other than this new tollway, there is no way to do the Woodlands@I-45 to Tomball@249 in 10 min and then hit Cypress@290 8 min after that.

Waze messed up on me today, maybe it thinks that some entrance/exit ramps are closed

The new section of GP is my favorite stretch of freeway in Houston.

It will DEFINITELY need to be widened in the future. Traffic was kinda heavy today. Some spots are going to be hard to widened due to lack of space.

Was on it today just to see (went from Katy to 45 and returned, with a detour to see a bit of Cypress)

Nice stretch, quite a lot of traffic!
