market is hot right now. I've got a small condo and decided to bump it 5k more. This was within a matter of a week from when they came to take photos of the place and listing it on mls. Can only imagine what the nice homes are going through.

Depends in the area and pricing I'd guess. The houses we were looking for in the heights were moving quickly

we're still seeing them inside the loop as well. Even on townhomes if you can believe it.

Yes.

We're buying a house up in Klein and there were multiple offers. I'm sure the only reason there weren't more is because the house is on the smaller end for the neighborhood.

It's that time of year. The multiple offer situation improves during the school year while school is in session.

In West U and other hot inner loop locations there are still multiple offers above list price for attractively priced properties- sometimes multiple all cash deals. If the OP really wanted the deal they should have sweetened their offer when they weren't getting a response. Most sellers will take the deal that pays the most money at the closing table unless they have some sort of sentimental attachment to a particular buyer. When we marketed our West U house last year, we got multiple offers in the first week along with sappy letters about why the particular buyer needed the house. We looked at the numbers and strength of the offers rather than the sentiments in the letters. We sold above asking price.

small condo in galleria of mine listed about 10 days ago. got a few offers those first few days. went back and forth with one buyer before agreeing to a deal recently. market id say is beginning to slow a tad because lots of properties are being listed, but still many people searching for a place.

Both offers revised higher and a third topped both of them. We also had 9 new showings today
