Does anyone have the "inside" scoop on when the 290 HOT Lane will go active ? ( yes I know the website says Spring 2013 ) Signs up,verification booths etc.in place. What the heck are they waiting for ? Typical Metro/gov't BS. Just this morning Chan.11 had story on HOV lane cheaters. Let's get the HOT up and running already.......

Hmmmmm.....you may have a point However,my best guess is the $$ for peak will be high and thus keep the increase to a tolerable level.

On the other hand you could be right on. Time will tell.........

High Occupancy Toll lanes. basically theyre converting many of the existing HOV lanes along the major corridors into toll lanes (they will still be HOV lanes too) for people willing to pay a premium to avoid the traffic.
