Ah, I see that most of the posts on the Woodlands crime are from several years ago, and the police seem to take things very seriously. That's a good sign. What really bothers me are the driveway robberies. Where do all these criminals come from?

I'm saying if you look at this map, there are registered sex offenders living in every single area of the city. Income levels, neighborhoods, etc. can't separate you from that segment of the population. Check out the map and type in The Woodlands and you can see where they are. Some areas have more than others but you can't totally get away from them. Woodlands has them but looks fairly low compared to other areas.

Sex offenders are EVERYWHERE. I bet if you look where you live you will be surprised how many there are surrounding you.

I would think those are not an isolated cases if people are put on the list for that type of behavior.

It is automatic depending on the state (some states reworded certain descriptions of public urination to take out he indecent exposure part but only about 6 states have wording that says you must do it in front of a child for it to be considered indecent exposure). If you are found guilty of certain crimes it is automatic to be on the list (mooning, streaking, urinating). Even if it was just once because once you are found guilty one time you are on the list for life unless your state revokes the law and you can afford to take your name off afterwards.

There's also the cases where the dad of a 17-yr-old girl got mad and turned her 18-yr-old boyfriend in. Wala- he's a sex offender. You can read the details on the people to determine if he's a danger or not. I looked at that site and looked at different areas of the country - they are everywhere.
