We'll gladly take the capital. But how about sending those retrograde politicians to Mississippi instead? They can probably make some improvements, maybe make the economic situation better compared to now, and still keep the social conservatism.

We'll replace them with Greens (and some progressive Democrats for the loyal opposition)which would make Austin (and Houston) proud.

Have you ever been to Jefferson City, capital of Missouri instead of St. Louis or Kansas City?
