Do you have a favorite place to work out or what is the best gym you have been to in Houston? What do you like about it most? Feel free to share with Houstonians. You never know, people may be looking for a place to go and you can guide them in the right decision. Fit Athletic Club in River Oaks has the best showers I have ever used in a fitness center. They are very relaxing!

I love to run outdoors at Terry Hershey Park in the Energy Corridor, love the trails & scenery. I work out at LA Fitness when I'm not at Terry Hershey

I prefer outside.. I like it because it's somewhat cheap. The only price you pay is heat exhaustion.

I go to LA Fitness at The Marquee. It's terrible but close to The Heights.

I had a membership at LA Fitness at one point in time. Its an average gym, but the managers there sell it to be 5 star resort lol. Not much difference between them and 24, which i worked for years ago, but more expensive. I dropped it once people started having their cars, locker broken into, whirlpools malfunctioning constantly to cold water, temporarily being fixed only to stop heating the water 2 weeks later then takes them another month for repairs lol.

LA Fitness Signature in Greenway Plaza. I absolutely love it.

It's close to work, super affordable and my trainer is wonderful. It's really crowded on Monday nights, but it tapers off and is dead on the weekends. It's really clean, the showers are always working and I've never had an issue finding a towel. You do need to bring your own lock for lockers though. They have a huge array of machines and freeweights...only two rooms for clases, but that's not my thing. They have a full sized basketball court, pool and saunas. I really am a fan of it.

Run and cycle in Terry Hershey park 3 days a week. Quiet and green.
Hit Lifetime at Citycentre about 3 times a week.
I get SUNDAY off from all sweating.

Spouse LOVES Lifetime city centre, lots of classes to choose from, high quality instructors, great facilities, very expensive. To make up for it I run in TH park.

This is a great gym! I had worked out 5 days a week at a 24 Hour Fitness for over 25 years until it closed down.

I then joined Lifetime Fitness at city centre (at a much higher rate) but what a great gym it is!
