We are expecting our first child in January and looking at daycare centers for next year. Does anyone have any they recommend???

Right now we are leaning toward Discovery Day Care and Primrose, both are new and VERY close to our house.

Thanks for any info....

My Place right next to La Centerra... Do some research on this boards... plenty of reviews... Also, keep in mind not every daycare takes kids under 1 year old...

All Primroses in the Katy area have the same owner - we used them for their preschool/kindergarten program and were happy with them. Not sure for the infant side, but know that a number of teachers use them. hope this helps.

Centerra Ranch Montessori School (CRMS) right off Cinco Blvd. just on the east side of 99. I can't say enough great things about it and it's really small. There is a baby room, not sure how young, like I say very small. It is locally-owned and family-operated and new this year. That's all I was interested in because I once spent a summer in Dallas working in an exclusive suburban franchised childcare center and I was burned by the experience, not to mention very unimpressed with the high turnover of staff. That wasn't here in Katy, but that was my experience and it influenced our decision in childcare.
