Can anyone give their input on a reliable cab service from the pearland area to downtown? Yellow cab seems to have terrible reviews, but there arent many reviews on other websites (I checked united, eagle, liberty and yellow pages in general). Need to book for this morning! Appreciate your help!

Almost impossible to get a cab that will come to Pearland. City of Pearland makes the cab companies get a special permit to come to Pearland and many cabbies don't have it. I wouldn't trust calling one if you need to be somewhere on time.

Use a car service. A couple of dollars more than a cab, more reliable and better service.

This is the car service I use#: 832-466-1546.

Thanks eljabali for the info on the car service. We will definitely try it out the next time a ride is needed.

Just to update everyone....we used Eagle Taxi. They were terrible. Later we found out they have only two cabs. TWO. They were almost an hour late, and then after 3 phone calls and much stress when they did show up, the only concession was a discount on the ride. Not a free one as I had hoped....
