These are the places we visited:

Kids R Kids (least favorite place, seems more like a daycare)

British Private Prep School (were not giving tours at the time and only has an opening for 2days/week)

My Place Early Learning Center (seems like a decent place and also the cheapest option)

The Goddard School (my favorite of the bunch. Director was very friendly. Only cons were no meals provided and there's an apartment complex located directly behind the place)

Cinco Ranch Montessori (were not giving tours at the time. Heard a lot of good things about Montessori schools in general. Cons included being the most expensive place by far and only teaches until 3pm. After 3pm "college girls" come in and pretty much just babysit until parents pick up)

What are people's opinions and personal experiences of these places?
Like I said, I am looking to enroll my son in the fall and want an actual learning center with a rigorous curriculum.
Our son is very smart (I know, I know every parent thinks their kid is a genius, lol) and we want him to be challenged.
Just curious which school was chosen?

In a regular school, they're only in class learning up to about 3pm anyway, so I don't see what the big deal is with them being baby sat from 3pm till they get picked up.

Default Bpps

Our daughter has been at the British Private Prep School in SW Katy since it opened August 2011 and we absolutely love it. She has learned so much there and she even gets upset if we pick her up "too early" because she's having such a great time.

Sorry the late reply.
I went with My Place Learning Center.
Our son seems to enjoy it for the most part and the staff seems nice.

We went by there twice and each time we were told they were not giving tours.
Plus, the slots were filled at the time.
Would have been nice to check the place out and I like that it's very close to our house.

Default Cinco Ranch Preschools

Hello All-
I have read through the most recent threads and just wonder if anyone knows of a true "pre-school" or "Pre-K" program in the Cinco Ranch area? My son is 4 1/2 years old and we are looking for top-notch preschool to send him. We currently attend a preschool that uses the Emilio Reggio approach to learning and are thrilled with his progress. I understand there are not many of these in the States, but would like something comparable if it does exist in the Houston area. Thanks in advance for your input!
