Hello, I changed my address by mail last time sooooo, I guess this time I have to have go to the DMV. I live in Cinco Ranch. I know the nearby DMV closed, so can someone please give me some ideas about a place to go?

Do you have to stay in your county? Is there a small town that would be less of a pain that larger place?

Thank you very much.

It is bizarre. I tried to do it online after I called and waited forever.... She said I could do it online so I tried and it said I was not eligible, but I am. Frustrating.

The closest DPS to Cinco is Rosenberg. I usually drive 45 minutes out I-10W to Columbus, though, because the wait has just been too long at Rosenberg, even when I arrive before it opens. Edited to add: You do not need to stay within your county of residence.

I second the drive to Columbus. It is a nice, quiet drive and I have never waited in line.
